We Are Not a Factory, and That Is the Point
Every other site that ranks for keyboard case machining is a factory selling its own capacity. A factory can never tell you that it is the wrong shop for your job. We can, because we do not own any machines.
What we do
You send one set of CAD files. We read them, work out which shops can actually make that part in that finish at that quantity, and put the request in front of up to 3 of them. They quote you directly. You order from whichever one you pick, and the order, the money and the relationship are yours.
Shops pay us for matched requests. You pay nothing, and we take no commission on the order. That is the entire business model and it is set out in full on how it works.
What we are not
We do not own machines, we do not anodise anything, and we do not resell parts with a margin on top. We are not a marketplace with a supplier directory and no opinion, and we are not a broker who forwards your drawing to forty shops and waits.
We also do not design keyboards. If your model is not finished, a shop cannot quote it, and we will tell you that rather than pass a half specified request along.
Why an independent is worth having in the middle
Machining a keyboard case is not hard. Machining two hundred of them so that every one looks like the sample, on a date that a hundred people have already paid against, is a specialist job that most competent machine shops have never done.
The failures are always the same ones. A plate pocket that closes up after coating. Two case halves anodised in different loads. A shop that agreed to a date it had never checked with its anodiser. A cosmetic standard that nobody wrote down until it was time to argue about it.
A designer sending their first RFQ has no way to tell which shops have met those problems before. That is the gap we work in, and it is why the reference pages and guides on this site exist even for people who never send us anything.
What we will not claim
This site is new. We are not going to pretend otherwise, because the industry is full of pages claiming a decade of experience and two thousand happy clients with nothing behind either number.
So, plainly: we publish no client count, no network size, no years in business, no testimonials and no case studies. We hold no certifications and we do not claim any. There are no photographs of a factory floor on this site because we do not have one, and a stock photo of somebody else's machines would be a lie told in pictures.
What we do have is the technical material on this site. Read the tolerances guide or the anodising guide and judge whether the people who wrote them know the work. That is a fairer test than a number we could type into a box.
How to check us
Ask us something specific and difficult. Ask why your gasket shelf should not be dimensioned to the free thickness of the gasket, or what happens to a plate pocket after e-coating, or why your two case halves came back different shades. If the answer is useful, that tells you something. If it is vague, that tells you something too.
You can also simply use the site and send us nothing. The RFQ template and the cosmetic standard template work just as well with a shop you found yourself, and we would rather you got a good outcome than no outcome.
Talk to a person
Email for anything on the buyer side and if you run a shop. We reply within 24 business hours, and there is no phone number anywhere on this site because a written trail is better for both of us.
